In this interview, he expressed how his journey began when he was managing a Fitness Centre at a five-star hotel in Bhopal and Arjun Rampal had come for a fashion event. He was asked by Arjun to walk for the fashion show that evening. Starstruck, he began his runway career with Malaika Arora & many big names.
Winning the Mr Physique at Mr India 1998, it was just the beginning for the ace talent. He met many celebrated models and designers then like Hemant Trivedi, Milind Soman, Pooja Batra- he was not only encouraged to pursue modelling for good and move to Mumbai because he is meant to be one.
He embraced the modest opinions of the stars well and eventually moved bases to Mumbai in 2000.
Before modelling happened, he used to play hockey, was on a determined plan, fitness and practices and wanted to play for India.Interesting find about Shawar.
He tells BYSQ Itz Showtime that he loves India and that there is so much to explore but misses his favorite travel destination Lucarno in Switzerland.
